Over the years I have kept a book specifically for writing down quotes within it. Every time I hear a great quote or something that really makes me think I note it down. Here are my favourite quotes on the topic of success - one of the most intriguing and baffling topics of all. Why can some people become incredibly successful, while others (who have had exactly the same upbringing) appear doomed to a life of mediocrity? It seems like the more a person is willing to put in, and the more they want something, the more likely they are to achieve it, as is illustrated by this quote:
"If you can 'commit' to the fact that you are willing to 'die trying', than success is nearby" - I have seen many people down the years that tell me that they want success in their field and financial independence, yet they are very vague about what this actually means to them, and when it comes to the crunch time they seem to be content with not taking action.
"The difference between someone who is successful and someone who is not ultimately comes down to how far they are prepared to go" - This quote refers to when times get tough, and when most people give up and accept defeat. At the start of a new project or goal everyone is fresh with optimism and excitement, and taking action is easy. It is in the tougher times when those that continue to work toward their goal are eventually rewarded.
